Operating under the Turkish-German University Technology Transfer Application and Research Center (TTM), the Entrepreneurship and Incubation Unit aims to support the transformation of academic knowledge and research outputs into practical applications through entrepreneurial ideas.
The unit contributes to structuring innovative business ideas emerging within the university ecosystem from their early stages, providing guidance throughout the entrepreneurial journey—from idea to product, and from product to market. This process is grounded in a holistic approach that addresses the technical, business development, and strategic needs of entrepreneurs. Accordingly, the Entrepreneurship and Incubation Unit aims to evaluate and mature entrepreneurial ideas developed by academics, students, and researchers, while offering support in areas such as mentorship, business model development, and roadmap creation. Within this framework, the unit facilitates the effective use of the university’s research infrastructure and academic expertise by incubated ventures, strengthens their connections with the technopark, industry, and investment ecosystems, and provides guidance and consultancy services to enhance the commercialization potential of innovation-oriented projects.
