TÜBİTAK Bilateral Cooperation Grants
This program is conducted within the framework of bilateral cooperation agreements signed in the field of science and technology at the intergovernmental or inter-institutional level with various countries. TÜBİTAK 1709 – EUREKA-EUROSTARS
Within the scope of the call, international R&D projects involving at least one Turkish partner and one partner from a Eurostars member country, aimed at developing market-oriented, innovative products, processes, and services, will be supported. Under Eurostars-3, which will be carried out between 2021-2027, the objective is to support innovative SMEs in increasing their R&D and innovation capacities and productivity, thereby helping them access global value chains and new markets.

COST Actions
COST is an organization that aims to bring together expert scientists from across Europe in international scientific networks called COST Actions, thereby enabling researchers conducting national studies to engage in the international arena. Within the scope of COST Actions, financial support is provided for Management Committee and Working Group meetings, workshops, scientific conferences, training schools, short-term scientific missions (STSM), and publications resulting from the activities carried out within the actions.

Horizon Europe Programs
The European Research Council (ERC) funds frontier research projects and the scientists who will carry out these projects, evaluating them solely on the basis of scientific excellence. Decisions by the ERC are made by the scientists on the ERC Scientific Council, and evaluations are likewise conducted by scientists who are experts in their respective fields.

Marie Skłodowska Curie Uluslararası Burs ve Araştırma Destekleri  (MSCA) nitelik ve nicelik olarak araştırma ve teknoloji alanındaki insan potansiyelini güçlendirmeyi, araştırmacıların kariyer gelişimini desteklemeyi, uluslararası ve sektörler arası araştırmacı dolaşımını teşvik etmeyi ve böylece Avrupa’yı ve Türkiye’yi araştırmacılar için bir cazibe merkezi haline getirmeyi hedeflemektedir.

Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society

Civil Security for Society
The Civil Security for Society cluster is located under the Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness pillar of the EU Horizon Europe Program. The primary objective of the cluster is to support EU policy priorities related to security, including cybersecurity and disaster risk reduction and resilience. Digital, Industry and Space Cluster
Actions within this cluster will support the key enabling technologies that are strategically important for Europe's industrial future and will deliver the following six expected impacts in the Strategic Plan:
  • Global leadership in clean and climate-neutral industrial value chains, the circular economy, and climate-neutral digital systems and infrastructures (networks, data centers).
  • Industrial leadership and increased autonomy in key strategic value chains with security of supply in raw materials.
  • Sovereignty in digital technologies, including new and emerging technologies.
  • Creating a globally attractive, secure, and dynamic agile data economy by developing and enabling the use of next-generation computing, data technologies, and infrastructures.
  • Strategic autonomy in the design, development, and implementation of global space-based infrastructures, services, applications, and data.
  • Human-centric and ethical development of digital and industrial technologies.

Climate, Energy and Mobility Cluster
The Climate, Energy and Mobility Cluster is based on the idea of achieving the EU's goal of becoming the world's first climate-neutral continent by 2050. Within the scope of Cluster 5, the aim is to support projects that will contribute to the European Green Deal and Digital Europe priorities, as well as the objectives of EU strategies related to climate (EU Climate Law, 2030 Climate Target Plan, EU Strategy on Adaptation to Climate Change), energy (Hydrogen Strategy, Renovation Wave for Europe, EU Strategy for Energy System Integration, Offshore renewable energy), and mobility (Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy). https://ufukavrupa.org.tr/tr/alanlar-kumeler/iklim-enerji-ve-mobilite


Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment Cluster
The aim of this cluster is to ensure food sustainability, prevent environmental degradation, protect biodiversity, and implement an economy that achieves better management of water security and natural resources. Within this scope, it is planned to support projects on biodiversity, eco-friendly food production systems and the food chain, circular and bioeconomy, clean environment and waste prevention, strengthening of rural, urban, and coastal communities, environmental observation technologies, and the European Union Green Deal.
