05.05.2026
The management and unit coordinators of the Turkish-German University Technology Transfer Application and Research Center (TAU-TTM) conducted a comprehensive visit to the Ataşehir and Çekmeköy campuses of Dijitalpark Technopark. The visit was attended by Prof. Dr. İrfan AKIN (Member of the TTM Executive Board), Asst. Prof. Mustafa Erkam ÖZATEŞ, Res. Asst. Kadir SAĞIR (University-Industry Cooperation Unit Coordinator), Res. Asst. Dr. Kaan DEVECİ (Entrepreneurship and Incubation Unit Coordinator), Lect. Dr. Özgür BAHARLI, and Lect. Bahar KAVACIK. The primary objective of the visit was to observe the innovation atmosphere within the Technopark, evaluate existing infrastructure facilities, and determine a roadmap to convey these opportunities most efficiently to our university's academicians and students.
During the visit, detailed information was first obtained regarding financial technology (fintech) focused studies and international acceleration programs at the Ataşehir campus. Subsequently, the delegation proceeded to the Çekmeköy campus to inspect the completed buildings within the planned expansion projects, entrepreneurship offices, social interaction areas, and modern meeting halls. Our university's academic staff will be able to actively utilize these venues for their projects and research.
The visit also addressed exciting collaboration models for our students, with a primary focus on increasing internship and employment opportunities and encouraging student participation in the 'Entrepreneurship Workshop' programs within the Technopark. The data obtained and the decisions made as a result of the visit have created a concrete framework that will strengthen the ties between both institutions and enhance our university's technology transfer capacity. We would like to extend our gratitude to Dijitalpark Technopark for their sincere hospitality and professional support.
