04.04.2026

A working visit was conducted between Turkish-German University (TAU) and Yaskawa Turkey, one of the world's leading organizations in industrial automation and robotics technologies, to strengthen university-industry cooperation.

The meeting was attended by TAU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Yunus Ziya Arslan, Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Christoph Uhrhan, and Technology Transfer Application and Research Center (TTM) University-Industry Collaboration Coordinator Res. Asst. Kadir Sağır, while General Manager, Hakan Eskiyazıcı represented the Yaskawa Turkey delegation.

Within the scope of the meeting, an agreement was reached to conduct joint R&D activities addressing contemporary industrial challenges—such as robotic systems, automated path planning, and software development—and to develop projects within the framework of national funding mechanisms, specifically TÜBİTAK TEYDEB. Furthermore, it was decided to implement a collaboration model designed to enhance the competencies of undergraduate and graduate students by enabling them to take active roles in industrial projects.
