TAU TTM and IBB Hold Strategic Collaboration Meeting at Dijitalpark Teknokent
The Turkish-German University Technology Transfer Application and Research Center (TAU TTM) held a strategic project development meeting at the Dijitalpark Teknokent Ataşehir campus, with the participation of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) EU Relations Directorate and academicians. The meeting was attended by TAU TTM Project Support Unit Coordinator Asst. Prof. Murat Tümer, Asst. Prof. Aytaç Durmaz from Boğaziçi University, IMM EU Projects coordinators Buket Yoloğlu, Filiz Turan, and Buse Polat, TAU TTM unit advisors Lecturer Dr. Özgür Baharlı and Lecturer Bahar Kavacık, and Dijitalpark Teknokent TTO EU projects coordinator Meltem Bayraktar.
During the meeting, where potential partnerships within the scope of Horizon Europe and Erasmus+ programs were evaluated, the discussions focused on how IMM's extensive institutional infrastructure and our university's researcher capacity could be integrated into joint projects. Project topics that could be developed between IMM and TAU were brought to the table. It was stated that projects could be developed in various fields, primarily in health, environment, smart cities, and youth. It was highlighted that collaborations on projects providing innovative solutions in Istanbul would increase the opportunities for both institutions to access international grants and funds.
